The time taken calculation type populates with a time duration between 2 date fields. The duration types implemented by the feature are listed below

• Minutes
• Hours
• Days
• Work Minutes
• Work Hours
• Work Days
• Weeks
• Years

To create a calculated field of type time taken, enter the type, table, and column to auto-populate in the first general section. This example will populate the time taken from a case being created to resolved

The next time taken section has the unit type, start date column, and the end date column, which are used for the duration

Moving down to the work calendar section we must enter the primary key of a calendar which defines work hours for the calculation. This section is only required of the Unit Type is work minutes, work hours, or work days
