Lookup Clone Related is a feature used to replicate the related records of a record of the same type. Generally, it would be used along with other calculation to initialise or populate data from a predecessor or template record
The lookup clone related calculation varies from other calculation types, in rather than populating a specific column, it creates entire records related to the target table. This means in the first section of the form only the type and table need to be entered
The main table in this context is the that which will have multiple related records. For instance, this example will clone job responsibilities related to a job position, so the job position table which will have related items cloned is entered in the first section

In the second section the only information required for this example is populated in the screenshot below
new_clonedfrom is a self-referencing lookup column in the jon decription table, and the other details specify to clone related job descriptions which are linked by the given lookup column

Additional options further down the section allow filtering records or fields from the cloning, as well as specifying a lookup column to maintain a reference link from each cloned record to it’s original source

To visualise an example of this calculation type, here we have a job position for a manager with several example responsibilities

Here I’ll create a new job position named team lead and select to clone from the manager job position

Having saved the quick create form, the team lead job position opens prepopulated with the desired job responsibilities
